Characteristics of the apartment
The house is sold including furnishings. The Penthouse Luxe is beautifully located on the top floor of Kristall Plaza. The view is truly phenomenal. From the Penthouse you have a view of the ski slopes of Niederau-Wildschönau and also partly over the village. The view is also beautiful all around. The house has a beautiful and large, partly covered, balcony at the front (south). On the west side there is also a spacious roof terrace of no less than 50 m2! The Penthouse has a beautiful spacious living room with several patio doors to the terraces. The large interior height and the enormous glass facade create a beautiful “loft” effect.
The penthouse is equipped with a beautiful, large, masonry fireplace in Austrian style, wooden floors with underfloor heating, free WiFi, soundbar, Smart TVs in the living and bedroom(s), dining area, a luxurious design kitchen with wine climate cabinet, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Penthouse Luxury features; one bathroom with shower and toilet, two bathrooms with bath, private sauna, separate toilet, four bedrooms with a double bed (in one of the bedrooms you will also find a bunk bed).
Characteristics of the accommodation
Kristall Plaza features a general sauna. You will also find a general washing machine and dryer and a ski depot in the building. Kristall Plaza is run by a Dutch caretaker couple, who live near the complex and are therefore almost always nearby. They take care of the check-in/check-out of the guests and ensure that everything is to your liking. The caretakers also provide the bread service for a fee.
The complex also houses the first Glennie’s Restaurant. Various types of Austrian and international dishes are served with a nod to the Netherlands. It is possible to order room service from Glennie’s from the apartments.
The Kristall Plaza apartments are located literally at the foot of the slopes and lifts of the Markbachjoch and the Schatzberg in the center of Niederau, the main town of the Wildschönau. Both already form a ski area of approx. 70 km of ski slopes. The Wildschönau is connected to the Alpbachtal ski area by one of the most modern lifts, resulting in a super ski area of 150 km of ski slopes. All apartments have a wide view of the Wildschönauer mountains, the village of Niederau and the slopes of the local Markbachjoch ski area.
The super ski area “Ski Jewel” is suitable for skiers of all levels, from families with small children to professional cracks and snowboarders, who do not turn their hands on black, mogul slopes and powder snow descents. Cross-country skiers and hikers can also indulge themselves in the extensive and beautiful nature of the Wildschönau. Even night skiing is possible here on the floodlit ski slopes.
The Wildschönau and the Alpbachtal are also beautiful nature reserves, which are ideal for mountain hiking in the mid-season and in the summer, many outdoor (mountain) sports, tennis, swimming, golf and of course the locally very popular paragliding! From your apartment you can see the many paragliders flying and landing over and on the Markbachjoch. It is a real four-season location and very suitable for rental!
There are plenty of options for trips and / or shopping. For example, Innsbruck, Munich and Salzburg can be easily reached in about an hour by car, but you can also look closer by going to the fashionable and bustling Kitzbühel, Kirchberg or Zell am See. The Wildschönau is simply the most central point in the Kitzbüheler Alps.
